Reviews: Cabin On The Wind
"The Cabin On The Wind is located on the Main Street through town, but felt private and secluded since it is located off the road, close to the Wind River. There was nice, flat open space behind the cabin and on the river.
The cabin had everything we needed."

“Wonderful Christmas memories. We had a magical stay at the Cabin on the Wind. The cabin was decorated with a Christmas Tree, hand-made stockings with our names on them and even an apron for me and one for our 3-year old daughter to make Christmas Cookies for Santa. All was so incredibly thoughtful and we made some wonderful memories as a family. The cabin was perfect for our vacation and quiet time together. Deer wandered the property, snow fell and we even heard owls hooting at night. We will definitely be back for another stay to make more memories”.

"I cannot rave about this cabin and the amazing owners enough! My husband, baby and I stayed here for almost a month and it truly felt like it was our own home. The furniture was comfortable, the beds were perfect, and the cabin was fully stocked with every item we could need (even a crockpot for those lazy meals I live for)! There is nothing comparable to waking up over morning coffee with the sights and sounds of the Wind River in the backyard. And on the days we wanted breakfast out, we could walk next door for fresh donuts or an egg and sausage breakfast at the local diner. It was perfect being able to walk into town to stroll among the locals and tourists, and it was quite convenient to be across from the market in case we needed to pick something up quickly. The town park was a five minute walk, which made it great to walk my son over to swing and play in the mornings. The cabin had great water pressure, cell phone coverage and Wi-Fi. The owners took care of everything we could possibly need, even pouring a sidewalk to the front door. They knew I was in a wheelchair and thought it might be helpful (and it was!)!! As far as wheelchair accessibility, this cabin was extremely easy for me to navigate (I push a manual chair with a width of approximately 24"). The doorways were accommodating as was the bathroom. There was a handheld showerhead in the bathtub/shower combo for showering accessibility. Claudia and Dave truly care about this property and about their guests comfort. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome from having everything we could need in the home, to waving as they passed us on the street around town to inviting us to a 4th of July BBQ. I would gladly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking to stay in the amazing town of Dubois and can't wait to go back again next summer". - S&R, July 2017
